Product Description
The Lâg Tramontane 218 series is built around one of the most celebrated tonewood combinations in acoustic guitar making: a solid Engelmann spruce top paired with Indian rosewood back and sides. This renowned pairing delivers remarkable tonal balance, combining clarity, harmonic richness, warmth and powerful projection, while offering outstanding musical versatility.
Available in two complementary electroacoustic cutaway formats, the 218 series meets the needs of different playing styles. The Dreadnought version prioritises power, volume and generous bass response, making it ideal for strong rhythmic playing and dynamic accompaniment. The Auditorium model focuses on ergonomics, tonal balance and expressive midrange precision. This version features the Dreadnought body shape, offering bold projection and depth.
Both models are stage ready, equipped with the Lâg Stage preamp system. Featuring volume control, a 3 band EQ with parametric mids, tuner, phase switch and notch filter, it provides precise tonal shaping and effective feedback control when amplified. The cutaway design ensures comfortable access to the upper frets for added performance flexibility.
True to the Tramontane identity, the 218 series incorporates Lâg’s distinctive aesthetic details, including the signature headstock and bridge design, oval soundhole and meticulous gloss finish. The slim neck profile ensures smooth playability and lasting comfort, making the Tramontane 218 a benchmark for quality and reliability in an accessible electroacoustic guitar.
