The Eko JB300 is an electric bass with vintage jazz lines, which have influenced all generations of bassists since the 1960s. With its passive electronics consisting of 2 single-coil J-type pickups and its 21-fret maple neck, the JB300 bass offers versatility and comfort that will delight any bassist starting their musical journey.
Timeless vintage jazz lines.
The timeless offset body shape that inspired the design of the JB300 needs no introduction: the characteristic double cutaway ensures excellent access to the highest frets, combined with two single-coil pickups, a 4-saddle bridge/tailpiece assembly, and a vintage-style pickguard. This classic configuration has been adopted by the Italian manufacturer Eko to create the JB300, an attractive and ergonomic electric bass thanks to its light weight and inviting curves, and above all, highly versatile for beginner bassists.

Despite its very affordable price, the JB300's construction has received meticulous attention to detail, offering beginner bassists an attractive and beautifully finished instrument. The body, crafted from poplar for robustness, is enhanced by a glossy finish. The sturdy and comfortable 4-bolt maple neck is topped with a laurel fingerboard, adding stability and warmth to the maple's crisp tone.
A versatile configuration.
On the electronics side, the JB300 is equipped with two J-style single-coil pickups in a familiar configuration, highly regarded for their snap, midrange, and versatility. Very comfortable with clean and warm tones, they can also be very biting and percussive when paired with a powerful distortion. To expand the sonic possibilities, a volume control for each pickup, as well as a master tone control, allows you to blend the characteristics of the different pickups and adjust their brightness. The bridge/tailpiece assembly incorporates independently adjustable saddles to fine-tune the action and intonation of each string and ensure effective sustain.
