Description
The Ranger 6 acoustic guitar is a true legend, born in the 1960s in the Eko workshops in Italy, where it was successively named J-52, then J-54, before becoming the Ranger VI we all know. This folk model, found in the collection of many guitarists, with its distinctive mustache-shaped pickguard, is perfect for beginners thanks to its unbeatable value for money.
The Ranger 6 features a Dreadnought, or Western, body shape with a wide, deep profile that delivers rich bass, powerful mids, and velvety highs. The spruce top provides precision and clarity, complemented by basswood back and sides—a robust wood offering good sustain and excellent durability. The set birch neck, with its low C profile, offers excellent playing comfort for all hand sizes and features a dual-action truss rod, allowing for precise action adjustments to suit your playing style.
Available in a wide range of colors, it also comes in a 12-string version, an electro-acoustic (EQ), a cutaway electro-acoustic (CW EQ), or a Vintage Reissue (VR) edition that retains the features of the original Ranger, such as a bolt-on neck and an aluminum zero fret. Whatever your style, there's a Ranger 6 to suit you!
