Description
Once upon a time in Eastern Italy,
the Ranger VI was undoubtedly one of those uniquely renowned guitars whose lines every guitarist has glimpsed at some point. This true legend was born in the 1960s in the workshops of Eko in Italy, where it was successively named J-52, then J-54, before becoming the Ranger we all know. Renowned for its exceptional durability and outstanding value, the Ranger VI has left its mark on guitar history with its distinctive mustache-shaped pickguard.
A reliable and retro six-string for every budget.
The Ranger Vintage Reissue is a modern reissue of this Dreadnought-shaped folk guitar, also known as a Western guitar, with a wide and deep body that produces rich bass, powerful mids, and pleasing highs. The spruce top, which provides precision and clarity, is complemented by a sapele mahogany back and sides, offering good sustain and excellent durability. The bolt-on mahogany neck, with its low C profile, offers excellent playing comfort for all hand sizes and features a dual-action truss rod, allowing for precise action adjustments. The aluminum nut, zero fret, and adjustable bridge saddle further enhance the playing experience, enabling you to play your notes with accuracy and inspiration.
And for a few more guitars,
the Ranger is probably one of the most popular models in Eko's acoustic guitar catalog, especially with its Vintage Reissue (VR) series. Available in two different colors, Vintage Natural and Honey Burst, they also come in 12-string versions, both acoustic and electro-acoustic (EQ).
The Ranger VR is, in short, a reliable, robust, and powerful western-style folk guitar accessible to all budgets. It's perfect for beginners wanting to enter the world of guitar, or for any experienced guitarist looking for a sturdy, efficient guitar with a very elegant retro look.
