With the Sauvage series, Lâg introduces the concept of Green Guitars, combining innovation, sustainability and distinctive design. In a world where development must go hand in hand with environmental responsibility, Lâg has created a unique collection built around eco conscious material choices and reduced impact finishing techniques.

At the heart of the Sauvage series is BrankoWood, developed by scientist Branko Hermescee as a sustainable alternative to exotic hardwoods. Using a controlled tropicalisation process to manage density, the series features a solid Pale BrankoWood top with a density close to spruce and a striking natural appearance. The headstock veneer, fingerboard and bridge are crafted from Black BrankoWood, offering a look and density comparable to ebony.

The back and sides are made from smoked eucalyptus with a distinctive rough sawn texture. This natural finish significantly reduces the need for heavy varnish application and extensive sanding, lowering solvent emissions and energy consumption. The result is an instrument with strong visual character and reduced environmental impact.

This electroacoustic auditorium cutaway model is equipped with the Stage Lâg preamp system, featuring volume control, 3 band equaliser, phase switch, notch filter and tuner. Combined with its curved back design for enhanced resonance and comfort, the Sauvage offers a responsive, balanced and stage ready performance.
